i am slowly getting sick of deviantart. it is turning into another facebook. deviantart is not a place to post blurry pictures you and your friend took in the mirror while making a weird expression with your crushes initials written on your finger tip.

i wish there was a way people could censor the images that appear on deviantart. its impossible to help people build their artistic skill and improve on their work when they feel the need to repeatedly post images with absolutely nothing good about them.

you can't comment and be like "hey, this picture looks fun!, its quite blurry, so maybe try to hold the camera steady. also the color balance looks off from the tungsten lighting in your bathroom, so you could try to adjust it on your computer. also your face is completely over exposed, but maybe you were trying to acheieve that look! :), also im noticing most of the left side of your face is cropped out, i find that a little distracting. great effort though!"

most of us all hate when someone uploads a terrible video of themself singing onto youtube, or makes an album of themself consisting of 200 pictures, so why do it on deviantart?

i would ask all members of deviantart to take this statement into consideration:
